They did a livestream on Instagram last night and someone asked them about a US tour. They said to look out for it this summer- but wouldn't give any other details besides that. Ahhhhhhh I am so stoked already though haha
They posted an amazing Facebook post this morning addressing cat callers from a festival they recently played. (There was also a video but I'm not sure how to post it on here.) But here was their post at least: so at sydney laneway, a man in the crowd thought it would be a good idea to cat call us from the audience. this video was taken shortly after and i couldn't quiet articulate how i felt other than "what a dickhead". but to whoever did that, and to whoever thinks yelling at people is acceptable, the intention behind cat calling usually isn't that the target you're yelling at will go home with you and sleep with you, the intention is to humiliate, assert dominance and exercise power. what you said wasn't a compliment, it was a threat. if anyone cat calls me from the audience again, i have the microphone, i am louder than you and i will make sure you will never see us play live again.
Completely missed this when it dropped last year. Been one of my listened to records through January and starting off Feb strong!
A date for a Cayetana, Diet Cig, Petal, Slingshot Dakota tour leaked on Facebook. (Lakewood Ohio on May 26). Really really crossing my fingers that Camp Cope is on at least half of this tour too. It just doesn't make sense for them not to be on that tour and they said on a livestream they will be in the US in June.
