I'm only on the first song and I'm already totally in love with it.

 

And they're doing a split with Cayetana? Amazing.

 

Ok, just finished listening. Truly amazing album, probably better than a good amount of stuff I put in my top 20. Lyrically, probably the record that has hit me closest to home, and that;s only after one time through. So glad I found this.

 

It's an easy top ten album for me, such a strong debut

 

I struggled ranking this one because I had never heard of the band before and so many of my favourite artists were putting out stuff that I wanted to be at the top of my list. But if I really think about it this hit me way harder than most things this year and I still love to listen to it. Going to be a top 3 for me. Might even be #2.

 

This my #3 after Bon Iver and Nick Cave, but it spent the majority of the year as my #1 before those two.

 

I've got it #3 behind Pinegrove and Microwave

 

Damn dude. Pinegrove will be my #1 I think. Microwave in the top 5 or 6. We are like the same person.

I wanna post so many passages from this but I think my favorite right now is:

In the less than a month that I've had this, I've already played it more than every other 2016 record except for 3 or 4. If I were to redo a 2016 list, this would be number 3 at this point.
