Pulled the trigger and bought tickets to the NJ show. It is a 6 hour drive for me but the tickets were only 10 bucks each. If they announce dates closer to me then awesome, but if not then at least I have a backup plan.
I'll probably do the Belmar trip and make a beach day out of it, plus it'll be nice to go back to my old stomping grounds
They've added a few more tour dates. They are playing in Los Angeles in July, opening for Worriers. Buying my ticket now!
Some place called The Bootleg, I've never heard of it. Its on July 25. Tickets are only like $12 after fees on Ticketfly.
Two shows in Montana but you can't come to the southeast? I only know Camp Cope, I'm just baffled at the tour. Is Worriers from Montana?
Just finished seeing their double show at the Syd Opera House and it was one of the more special live performances I've seen. Song for Charlie is just as heartbreaking live as it is recorded. Also played two new songs. One of them being among the most angry/empowering songs I've heard from them. The ending line I remember from it being ""get another female opener to fill a quota, mate". The other about Georgia's mum (which, all of their parents were in the audience). The show was recorded as well so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll release the footage. I'm so incredibly psyched for new Camp Cope within this year or the next. All of you Americans are in for a treat!
Also- I dunno if anyone follows Georgia on instagram but her stories/videos from today were amazing and made me love her even more than I already did. She basically called out and posted screenshots of guys messaging her asking her why her legs are hairy and telling her she looks "greasy". They have easily become my favorite band and the thought of new music is amazing. Im going to freak out in July when I see them.
everyone come to Brooklyn! holy shit it's a $5 show. Camp Cope expand tour, making NYC debut w/ Katie Ellen, Worriers, Thin Lips
