Good reminder to not miss foreign bands that you love. I would've been devastated if i missed it knowing that they wouldn't be back
I live in the same country as Camp Cope and they only came out my way once for a festival I did not want to go to lol
Georgia has moved to LA and is doing some pop up solo sets here and there. Also intends to drop another solo album soon.
Over the years she seemed to visit LA and NYC a lot. When they announced their break up I definitely wondered if it was maybe motivated by a desire to move to the States. Would love to see her do a solo tour. Or even better, bring back that Georgia Maq/Kelso tour that got canceled in 2020!
I think all three were looking at moving to the US at one point, so doesn't surprise me if Georgia has set up shop there
That was totally worth the ridiculous amount of time I spent on airplanes to get here. Also spent at least half of their set desperately trying to not break down in tears. I'm sad they're no longer a band but I truly appreciate everything they gave us.
Here’s my review of the show! https://themusic.com.au/reviews/cam...t-the-sydney-opera-house/99lF6-rt7O8/14-10-23
I actually read this thanks to Thomo’s retweet and then came on here to share it not knowing you were a member and already shared it yourself. Lol Wish I could’ve been there, thanks for the write-up!
So lucky I managed to buy mine before the merch line got bonkers long but for anyone interested in the final shirt show here ya go.
what a gift! they sound great, sorry I never saw them live. Camp Cope - Live at Sydney Opera House (2023)
