I've been loving the title track, its so fun

 

I really like a lot of this but some of it really blends together and gets kind of boring. I'm sure that will change though

The Opener is still such a banger

 

Loving this. Can't wait for my vinyl to arrive

 

Strong start, strong finish. The middle has gotta grow on me

 

This is really rad, totally into it. There's def a lot of anger on this record, but I think it comes off more as a simmer than a boil. It's like there's a greater tension on this than the last record, in spite of the more punk sound of the latter.

I'm not getting the "same-y" vibes as much as everyone else either. I get it a bit but I def think repeat listens and lyrical focus will bring out the nuance between tracks more.

Early take. Some songs on this are so damn good. And one or two are borderline annoying

Can definitely echo some of the similar vibes. There's one song that sounds exactly like one of their others. I'll have to listen again.

EDIT:The start of the last song literally just sounds like the beginning of acoustic Footscray Station. Great song though. Gives me chills.

 

But I Want You is so great :)

 

I've Got You. And yeah! That's the one I was referring to as giving me chills. It's amazing.

 

Listened a second time last night and I think the only place this dips is Anna-Sagan.

 

New to them but this is super good

 

Yup. Those are the two I’m not into at all.

 

The bass on UFO Lighter is so good

 

This just gets better and better. I’ve even come around to Anna more today. And the songs I already liked are digging their claws into me more each time. After a few days, it’s this or Anna McClellan as my current AOTY. (I’ve liked a lot this year, but only forged a connnection with a handful of records.)

Their last one was too aloof to really move me. This does NOT have that problem. They did not come to fuck around.

Albums awesome. Lyrics are great and the production is exactly what I would want on a punk mentality record.
