They’re doing an Audiotree Far Out session in what looks like a quarry rn

So it just clicked for me that the Wurst Nurse song Hot Brown Rain is about diarrhea.

Been listening to this and S/T a lot lately, borrowed my brother's bike and went on a nice trail listening to them back to back since it's finally summer weather here. Super lovely.

This record is really great but I think the S/T juuuuust edges it out as my favorite.

Probably my first experience of a show at a warehouse setting; the venues I've gone to in LA are usually a bit nicer on the outside.
I was way up at the front by the corner of the stage and had a good view of everyone most of the time. I'm usually not that close up, but the speakers weren't blowing my ears out, so I was able to stand it.
Sidney Gish is really good! I should definitely check out her stuff.
Kiley called out some folks who were making noise during a quieter song. Thanks, LA. She said something along the lines of, "I'm just a queer woman occupying a space with my friends singing songs about heartbreak. How about some respect?" Good on her.
Georgia looks really different than I expected, I didn't recognize her. She kept getting sweat in her eyes, it's so hot. Thanks, LA.
Sidney's loop pedal work, Kiley's and Georgia's live vocals, and Kelly on bass were incredible.
I spotted Sarah and Kiley before the show, Sarah getting something from someone in a car (Kelly?) outside the venue and later Kiley talking to some folks in the room with the bar. I also saw that they were talking to each other while Kiley was getting her stuff off the stage and Sarah was setting up her kit. Really cemented the fact that these are just ordinary people before and after the show.
This was my first show in about six months. Good way to get back into the groove of going to these kinds of things. Definitely don't regret ditching AX for this.

Pumped for my show on Friday!

Does anyone know what the set times have been like for this tour? Is Petal closing every night or are they alternating?

I think they're alternating. Camp Cope closed in Dallas

    Show started at 8:00 here

Petal really impressed me but Camp Cope just have this unmatchable energy. It’s a beautiful experience.

I’ll be in New York ( & Boston) as well if you see someone with shoulder length blonde hair and an Aaron west shirt tomorrow feel free to say hi or move to the other side of the room depending on your mood

I just got back from asbury and it might have been my fave show of the year, it’s at least tied for it

Camp cope closed tonight as well. Everyone was really great I'm glad I got to see them live. I saw Petal with captain we're sinking forever ago but I didn't really know them then

Just got home from the show. As usual I had major anxiety of going to a show by myself lol but once I walked in it was an awesome show. I never listened to Petal before and was blown away by her. Gonna have to do a deep dive on Spotify tomorrow.
Camp Cope killed it as usual. It's crazy how they sold out Bowery.....just one year ago I saw them in a venue in LA half the size, and the place was still only half full.

Only complaint - fuck shows that start late. The doors were at 7:30.....why did the opener not go on until 9? I was trying to muffle yawns towards the end, and getting home at 1am really sucks haha

Petal closed mine, but unfortunately nearly half the room cleared out after Cc

  21. Not to make a big deal out of nothing, but when I saw them I honestly didn't know Georgia had changed her hair. Back in like September apparently? Scrolled through her insta just now and realized this is not a new thing, like, at all.

Anyway, it really sucks that people aren't staying for Petal. Kiley's amazing. Watched their Audiotree session today to relive the... magic. People are missing out.

I didn't start listening to Petal until I saw they were touring with Camp Cope (and I'd only found out about Camp Cope a couple months before I bought the ticket), but I honestly think I'm starting to love both bands just about equally.

When this tour got announced I went to check out Petal. I watched the video for Better Than You and wasn't feeling it so I didn't pursue it anymore.

But damn, seeing her live blew me away. I'm now obsessed. Magic Gone and Heaven are probably my favorites right now. As soon as she started her Fleetwood Mac cover on Friday I was instantly like "OK, I'm in."

I was so in love with all the acts and it felt like such powerful performances and shows and just all around comforting and fulfilling. I unfortunately didn’t get to see any dates with oceanator but I’ll be sure to check them out too.

This was a really interesting interview. They have really interesting perspectives on things and I find their accents rather soothing haha.

The fact that they're playing Sydney Opera House sounds flipping mad to me! That's dead cool.
