My girlfriend lived in Australia for nearly a decade before moving to Canada and still constantly calls it Hungry Jacks.
Took me awhile to listen since I don’t particularly care for The Opener, but the rest is good. Last track is my favorite
Still waiting on my preorder to actually ship. I hate how they send out tracking numbers like a week before it even ships
Man I love The Omen. Beautifully written song. And we'll live happily Get some rescue dogs in a house by the sea And I promise I'll take care of you If you promise to let me
Not sure if anyone has been following the band’s tweets over the last day or so, but looks like Music Feeds (an Australian music outlet) wrote an about them after they explicitly asked not to be quoted about the Falls Fest situation, causing more hostility and fuel to the fire.
It's been awesome to see them constantly call out the media and the industry in general for all their shit. Hopefully more artists will continue to do so as well.
Also - has anyone who did the RFC preorder deal for both LPs received theirs yet? My order confirmation says it's shipped, but it's nearly been two weeks since the new album was released so I figured they would have gotten here by now.
Just got one of them. I got the shipment notification on release day but it didn't actually leave the warehouse until last week. It's set to deliver this Thursday
Finally got a chance to check this out and it is amazing. Builds on the s/t in just about every way imo. I couldn’t be happier with it
Live video of the title track, I've had it stuck my head so much, currently my favorite on the record
Been thinking about my own history and even though I am a white cis male, I can relate to the lyrics of Face of God from a previous life experience and I absolutely love that track.
The more I listen to this the more I miss the production and everything from the first album. Idk why but even though the lyrics are here the instruments sound more flat and stale than their first LP and Cayetana split (which is awesome).
I haven't noticed much of a difference, but haven't played the first one in a bit. They sound so close to a live recording it barely crossed my mind.
