I really love Living Proof, and Cry For Me also keeps getting better and better. Album is shaping up nicely
It's really good, honestly more moody and chill than I expected, but in a really like... Emotional and real way
1. "Shameless" 2. "Living Proof" 3. "Should've Said It" 4. "My Oh My" feat. DaBaby 5. "Señorita" feat. Shawn Mendes 6. "Liar" 7. "Bad Kind of Butterflies" 8. "Easy" 9. "Feel It Twice" 10. "Dream of You" 11. "Cry for Me" 12, "This Love" 13. "Used to This" 14. "First Man"
the back half of this album is fucking great, the kind of stuff I didn't expect from her on a second album. I really like this album, I'm sure there will be some snap reactions of not liking it though with so many ballads
Earlier today I was like hmm I know I’m still excited for Harry Styles and one other album this year and I now realize it was this. Gonna listen now
Can't wait to be done work so I can listen to this. Will undoubtedly be up there in my top 5 for AOTY. Love me some Camila.
This record really just hits all of the right notes for me. One of my favorite pop releases in a minute.
Yep this thing rules, really love Dream of You and First Man as far as non-released songs go. Also love Bad Kind of Butterflies, it's such a weird song and almost sounds like it should be in a horror movie or something, but it works.
Bad Kind of Butterflies is sick. It’s going to be really interesting watching Billie Eilish’s influence continue to spread
I really enjoy this as a whole. A step up from Camila for sure and I already liked Camila quite a bit. One minor tweak I’d make is having the album open with Living Proof cus that’s my favorite and Shameless is lower on the list for me, but I mean I get why she chose Shameless thematically so it’s fine I guess
It's too early for me to say for sure compared to the first album, but this one definitely feels more like a singular project with a common theme.
AND this is definitely way more lyrically personal, which again wasn't a bad thing on the first album, just something that's obvious here
Personally, I think the album is a bit disappointing. I like pretty much all of the songs released prior to the album, but the only two songs that were not pre-released that I like are Used to This and First Man. The rest mostly sound generic and undercooked, except for Bad Kind of Butterflies - but that song didn't click with me. Maybe a few more listens will change my mind though.
