Camila Cabello on Drake Collaboration, New Album 'C,XOXO' & More

 

Man, wasn’t really feeling the two singles plus two Drake features. Might be a miss for me.

 

I know the Drake stuff was recorded before the beef, but man.... it's a choice to keep them on, and keep him on...

 

I’m sure they didn’t come cheap enough to lop off like that Kodak verse on that Doechii song.

 

That **amazing** Doechii track, btw. The version with him is trash, but Solo is honestly so good

 

New single sounds like Great Value Charli. Feel like this is gonna get rolled by “Brat.”

 

New album is pretty interesting, good first listen but I couldn't quite grasp ahold of it all. It definitely is NOT a hyper pop album at all, not even remotely like Charli, but there are a lot of features that kinda bog down it being a Camila album. The second half of the album is all solo tracks, but for the most part they feel like not as strong of songs. Also there are 4 interludes that don't really stand out all that much and the album moves by real quick. I'm sure it'll grow on my but first listen was kinda odd

 

Gotta say I'm not a fan.

 

Agreed sadly. Definitely didn't dig the direction she went with this one.

while this is my least favorite album from her, I made a playlist that I think ends up being a pretty good album when you incorporate a few bonus tracks

C, XOXO is pretty decent if you disregard all the songs with a feature except He Knows
