Idk why Calvin feels the need to stuff so many vocalists on every track. I’m excited to hear Tinashe on this one, but only Tinashe. With this album so far, and the first volume too, like half the songs would’ve been better without as many vocalists imho

Lmao @ 21 and Swae Lee being the only solos…Swae Lee can absolutely carry a song on his own but 21 is a feature artist if i’ve ever heard one (don’t get me wrong, i love him tho). kinda goes to show, Calvin’s instincts are always 50-50 for me

I feel like offset is the weak part of this song

I wouldn’t mind if it was just normani and tinashe

 

Not too shabby, the vocal effect on Normani though feels pretty weird

 

Idk how but potion and new to you have got absolutely stuck in my head I can’t stop listening to them

 

What is Charlie Puth pitch-shifting his voice like that on “Obsessed” lmao it sounds so weird

This is fun overall, definitely not on the level of Vol. 1 but I had fun with it.

 

I’m 11 songs in and I’m so bored by most of this besides stay with me, new to you and potion

 

I honestly think this is a better funk pop song than any song on Vol 2. Had never heard SG Lewis before, randomly stumbled on this song and I’m SO glad I did, incredible collab.

 

SG is good stuff
