  1. I was just thinking about this earlier today and how I need to watch it again.

Glad I'm not the only one who gets distracted watching movies at home and that you loved this

Curious as to why it was problematic for Karamo. Age difference?

I would assume so. Plus it’s very much in line with his persona on the show to try to show another side when all the other guys are agreeing. Lol.

I like to put in a DVD and set the sleep timer on my TV when I go to bed. I purchased CMBYN about a month ago. I'm embarrassed to admit how many times I've watched it (granted I fall asleep each time, but still).

Oh my god, I had no idea a sequel was on the cards?! Incredible news. I mean the original was perfect but any excuse to spend more time with Elio and Oliver. The book has a kinda epilogue that the film doesn't have but it's definitely nowhere near enough for another film. I imagine it's going to feel really bittersweet... I'm just being reminded once more of Elio sitting in front of that fire and now I'm welling up again.

In terms of title suggestions, the last paragraph of the book is as follows

I stopped for a second. If you remember everything, I wanted to say, and if you are really like me, then before you leave tomorrow, or when you’re just ready to shut the door of the taxi and have already said goodbye to everyone else and there’s not a thing left to say in this life, then, just this once, turn to me, even in jest, or as an afterthought, which would have meant everything to me when we were together, and, as you did back then, look me in the face, hold my gaze, and call me by your name”

I’m not all in on this yet either, but my hope is that if there has to be a sequel, they can return to these characters as well as Linklater’s Sunset trilogy does. And I trust Luca.

I agree but I’m hoping it’s something like Before Sunrise/Sunset which certainly did not warrant sequels but did them so well.
