    Seems like there’s little else it could be. The only other thing I’ve seen speculated was the next big Autumn Leaves show, but it really feels like it’s album time to me

    (Seems likely to be the GD album opposed to his new one, either way I’m keen!)

    He just put up an update saying an announcement is coming today. It's definitely the Green Day record. Sigh.

    That is extremely disappointing if it is a Green Day announcement - I really don't care for Green Day at all, and I was really looking forward to some developments on the new Butch music front.

    Things have changed.

    I wonder if it'll be announced during the MLB All-Star Game, which is rock-themed and taking place in Cleveland. They did show a Green Day marquee in the intro.

    This is all weird, but I'll take a Butch record or a Green Day record, or a Butch/Green Day record, or whatever. I think we're getting both this year anyway, so I'll be happy either way.

    Well not the news I was hoping for but a great cause and the first I've heard about Butch working with Green Day which is a dream for me -- hope he helps them rediscover their best form. I liked 21CBD but I have to admit we are now 15 -- FIFTEEN -- years post peak Green Day. Well, their best song since American Idiot is Still Breathing so between that and Butch there is hope for this next record!
