I've literally made the same joke like twenty times about mundane things in the politics thread over the past four weeks. God damn, this conversation is worse than Trump being elected, and worse than this album.
"I've made this shitty joke 20 times before and no one has cared then so I should be able to do it now"
its called hyperbole folks.... also i listened to a single from this and tate kind of has a point. it sounds like a very watered down version of the 80s sound championed by bands like tame impala, neon indian, 1975, etc. in recent years.
Haha, what a strange and needlessly hyperbolic little tirade. Album is fantastic and I can't wait to listen to that bonus track later today. If it sounds anything like "Gone", as others have implied, I'll be pretty thrilled.
Hadn't realised this was the Simple Plan thread. Although, if this album's that bad then it's definitely worse than Trump being elected. (Yes, that's also hyperbole btw).
amnesiac > hail to the thief > in rainbows > kid a > a moon shaped pool > ok computer > the bends > king of limbs > this album, probably > pablo honey
This has to be one of my top 3 tracks of the album and it wasn't even on the UK one. I feel like that they didn't put it on there as it was so different to the rest of it. Bit to much fun!
Oh god that wasn't close to mean spirited. The drummer's contribution is worse than anything I can say.
When 'Pop Star' was made and we felt awkard for the really purposefully bad songs did we know the Busted guys were taking notes on their new album? Are we sure this isn't a mockumentary?
A career known for brazenly ripping off 90s pop-punk badly and then trying to rip off synth pop badly a decade later. Seriously though, being known as second rate a year late at two trends has to hurt a little bit.
