Losing is definitely the weakest, Hate and Control probably my favorite song. Production feels off and no songs really stand out otherwise, I don’t think I’ve played it again since it came out until now. Feels the Same and You Could be Wrong are solid too but barely remember the rest.
Sugar Egg is so fucking good, easily their best. Production just sounds so good, I can’t imagine this sound being handled better. Every Tradition is probably my favorite and a perfect Bully song, but I don’t think there’s a bad track on this one. Gonna replay the new one in a bit but it’s either second or third.
This on second play was still really solid. Never hits as hard as Sugar Egg, but still really high quality. Lose You and Ms. America are my favorites, hope she keeps expanding on her sound now that she basically mastered it. Sugar Egg is my favorite, Feels Like has the most instant appeal and charm, but this new one is strangely the most wide ranging and experimental. Three really good records.
New to this band. I listened to this twice yesterday and really liked it. She’s got some colossal choruses and a great ear for melody. I liked All This Noise but thought it was a weird closer.
this is all ive listened to since it came out, love all of it but am iffy on the last song. going to pick the vinyl up this week.
Was offered a free ticket to see Bully tonight, opening for Franz Ferdinand and Pixies. Hyped to catch them live
never listened to her before but very very into this album right now. good all the way through and a couple SOTY contenders for me on it for sure
Can’t get enough of this album i love it love the last track and love it as a closer, i love how it recontextualizes songs 1-9
