This looks great. Shoutout to the Chappell Roan song, and the out of focus officer outside the door who’s definitely Stavros.
Wasn't gonna watch but I had to for the Chappell song. And they killed it, great use of it with actual sound editing and dramatic shifts. I got chills. My most anticipated of the year. Much better than the Chappell song in the Gabbys Dollhouse trailer too. Which I saw before Freakier Friday, which featured two Chappell songs.
Confesses? Belief in aliens is a more logical position to take. There are just too many galaxies and star systems out there.
Has anyone seen this? I haven't but I read the synopsis on the linked wiki page. I think a lot of the success of Bugonia may depend on whether they keep the original ending and, if so, how well they pull it off. What are the reviews saying?
I didn't read them because I didn't want it spoiled, but I think the biggest complaint seemed to be that it felt "limp" or less striking than other Yorgos films. Which I'm not exactly mad about - he goes hard when it comes to making viewers uncomfortable, and I'm here for the story and performances primarily
Saw this last night and loved it. I'm a big Yorgos fan so I'm biased but think it's right up there with his best stuff. Emily Stone is so good, Jesse is great, it really sucks you in with the tension and keeps you guessing. Pretty funny and pretty fucked up.
Did this get delayed for a nationwide release? No theater near me has showtimes for it this weekend, but they have listings for Halloween weekend
