I think my favorite part was that all it took to end the experiment at the end was the pop of a bubble. I laughed a little too much at that I think.

Just watched this. Such a great blend of comedy, horror and suspense. Not sure I totally loved the ending but gonna sit with it for a bit. Definitely didn’t ruin it for me, and I kind of had a feeling it may go that way, but was kind of hoping it wouldn’t have.

    Either way, super enjoyable film.

This movie knocked me off my ass. After Kinds of Kindness I did not expect to love it this much. Absolutely perfect to go in dark knowing as little as possible and perfect timing that I got high in the last 30 minutes cause whoa

second viewing tonight (first with the UHD). we had a friend over and he liked everything up until the ending, but enjoyed it overall. still kicks ass. my partner is an entomologist and derived a lot from the ending (probably in a way that Yorgos and the other creatives/those involved in Save the Green Planet probably weren't as cognizant of)

His batting average is more bad than good but Bugonia is a welcome step in the right direction.

Poor Things good. The movie landscape is better for having playful shit like that in it.
