i haven't dealt with anything Cloudflare-related for chorus, but i will say that ever since i put my VPN on full-time, most other sites i visit require Cloudflare verification, so it could be related to that for some users. also re: mobile embeds, i haven't been on my phone much today, but i think turning them off helped a tiny bit (no noticeable crashes yet), but there are still times where the site just freezes on a page (which is a precursor to the crashing). wondering if it's also related to attached images too.
I see the issue, it thinks your IP is an attacker .. on images. No idea why (any extensions running?). Deployed a fix for that. Should be live in ~15 min.
this is def true here, not logged in accounts not in tier 1 demographics will be challenged. ai scraping has killed us.
update: loading this thread on my phone (with the image you just posted about the Cloudflare issue) gave me a crash warning in Chrome, so i guess it's also attachment-related?
Not a supporter (don't hate me), but even though I'm logged in when browsing the boards, the home page prompts me to log in at the top. When I went to log in there, it hit me with this: I went back to the boards, signed out, and then checked a few stories on the main page and it seemed to get rid of the issue. I still show as not logged in when I'm on the home page, though. Has that always been a thing?
Yes, is only a supporter thing, I was on mobile when replying before so wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming. I think I got the issue you were seeing. We'll see if it pops up other places.
