This should be fixed now, it looks like the card was declined a few times but then went through on the 28th. Should be good to go now!
Anybody else having a nightmare with the news page? On both safari on my Mac and iPhone the page ads sort of jilt the page all over the show when the ads reload. It makes scrolling a nightmare, and picking up where you left off nearly impossible..
Thanks for flagging; I’m trying to reproduce it. Are you seeing this mostly while actively scrolling, or when you pause on the page? Which pages? And is it only on Safari?
No problem – thank you for acknowledging. It appears to trigger when the ads reload, and also when the infinite news 'pages' load. It's only the news/home page. I've just given Mac Chrome a shot on desktop and sadly the issue repeats. Wondered if I was a super unique case in preferring to visit the absolute punk URL, but I've just learnt it is the same experience with Chorus. Scenario: I will scroll, to say 'page 2,' see an article of interest, and before I can finish reading the headline the ads refresh and the page pushes me back up to 'page 1.' Sometimes the page will flitter between page 1, and 2, before landing on page 3! It's mad!
I'm getting a Cloudflare issue when trying to access the community section of the site on desktop. Seems fine on mobile though
1. Clear cache/cookies on desktop - often fixes it. 2. If not send me a screenshot of the full error, especially the # thing at the bottom.
K, looking into it a little more. Let me know if it comes back. If you can get a screenshot of the bottom that says 'ray id" that would help,
This drives me insane. The worst is if it happens on mobile, they take forever to come back. this has worked for me in the past: close safari. open folder: ~/Library/Safari/ Delete foldder: Favicon Cache reopen safari.
We own an app on my team that is fronted by our security teams authentication portal and we have no way to actually override their generic ass favicon when it takes them into our app. Drives me nuts to not have proper branding there, but alas, it's an internally facing app, so nobody cares lol.
What do you see at: https://forum.chorus.fm/favicon.ico https://forum.chorus.fm/favicon.png https://chorus.fm/social-icons/favicon.png can you visit those fine? try opening and then refreshing. i truly hate favicon caching, it messes up all the time for me.
No worries at all. If those work, then something is being weird with it holding on to the "none" version ... I cleared the cloudflare cache for the files too.
idk the reason, but running this site in Chrome for Android has been a nightmare recently. chorus is the only site that has any issue loading pages, and i suspect it's partially due to embedded content, but it feels like every 1 in 5 times i try to check a page, my screen freezes, causing Chrome to crash. idk if it's a memory thing on your end (again, this hasn't happened with any other site i've visited), or if it's related to me using my VPN more (ProtonVPN), but i can barely navigate the site without a pop-up saying that Chrome can't respond, and that i can either wait or force close the app.
I've had weird problems saying it needs to be refreshed or "confirm form resubmission" for pages that never required it before like Albums in Stores pages
was not aware this is a thing i can control. let me turn it off on mobile at least and get back to you.
Ads are hovering in the middle of my screen when I scroll up and they snap back to the bottom when I scroll down, then will float again if I scroll back up. edit; never mind it seems okay now. But it was happening each time I clicked into a thread but good to go now.
Apologies if this has been covered before, but for the past few weeks I've been seeing the following screens whenever I hit back on my browser after reading a story on the main page: I'm on Chrome both at home and at my work computer. Is this just a cookies thing?
Are you logged in on the homepage? A supporter account? or not. If you logout then back in, does that 1) remove ads on homepage 2) stop this?
