Yes, there's an issue somewhere with the database being slammed. It may be an attack.I will have time to work on it some more this morning to see what is happening.

    I'm sorry.

  4. First attempt at a fix deployed. I'll watch it today to see if that got it or not. Fingers crossed. If not, I'll have to spend time this weekend looking at it.

Hey @Jason Tate somehow I've lost my supporter status. Not sure why. Regular reccuring transaction was sent to Chorus, LLC from Paypal on June 8th 7:20AM.

  7. Should be fixed now. Unsure what happened there. Sorry about that.

If anyone else sees this happen, please let me know.

  9. Fixed. Looks like a weird PayPal issue since both have so far been from them. Will check it in detail tomorrow, wonder if they changed anything on how they send successful payment updates to my server.

I'm sure it's on my end, but for some reason I can only access the forum on incognito mode today. Google Chrome, pixel 6a:

  11. Clear cookies/cache from Chrome. Turn off any extensions (Ad blockers, privacy filters, proxies, or antivirus web shields). Make sure system clock is correct.

If doesn't work, send me your IP address and I can see what the server is sending. But if it's at the cloudflare level like that and works with other browsers, it looks like a session issue. Haven't heard reports from anyone else seeing it.

Yeah, does sound cookie-related if the site is fine with your IP address in incognito mode

I oddly had the same problem yesterday and this morning on Chrome. Forums worked on Internet Explorer. Regular Chorus.FM worked on both. But yeah clearing cookies and cache for the last 7 days worked.

Seems the ability to attach an image when editing a comment is not showing up on mobile. Only when it's a new post @Jason Tate

  16. That's weird. Looks like the image is being hidden/blocked for some reason.

Haha yeah it usually works for me, but only ever in landscape mode. But now it's disappeared from landscape as well

@Jason Tate ah, looks like it's because I have my browser zoomed in at 125%. I see it now when zooming back to 100%. Didn't used to be the case, but that works for now anyways :). Still weird how it works in portrait mode on a new post but not on an edited post

I keep getting logged out today. I’ll randomly refresh a page or click to a new one and it goes back from dark mode to white and I have to log back in.

    on the Chrome phone app

I’ve also been getting this for the last month or so, probably since around the same time as the above post. I’m randomly logged out multiple times, on Chrome on my phone. Doesn’t seem to be impacting any other websites and doesn’t seem to be occurring on my laptop.

Not a major issue, just a minor inconvenience, but figured this is the best forum to flag this.

Yeah, it’s still happening to me daily.

  22. Check Chrome’s cookie settings and any content blocker that would delete or not accept cookies.

it's weird it happens to me as well, albeit infrequently (firefox on mobile)

  24. I’ve changed nothing on my end, so the best chance is the browser settings are deleting or not accepting the logged in cookie anymore. Usually under some privacy setting or ad/content blocker setting.

  25. I don’t use Chrome or Firefox on mobile, so try searching for these settings:

    1. Go to Settings → Site settings → Cookies
      • Make sure it’s set to “Allow cookies.”
      • If it says “Block third-party cookies”, toggle that off temporarily.
    2. Check for “Clear cookies and site data when you close all tabs.”
      • If that’s on, Chrome deletes their login cookie every time they close the app.
→ Tell them to turn this off for now.
    3. If using “Lite mode” or “Enhanced Safe Browsing,” try disabling those too — both can interfere with cookie storag
    4. Firefox Mobile

      1. Go to Settings → Enhanced Tracking Protection
        • If it’s set to Strict, change to Standard.
(Strict mode blocks cookies set with SameSite=None — very common cause of this.)
      2. Settings → Delete browsing data on quit
        • Turn off “Cookies and site data” there.
      3. Settings → Privacy → Cookies
        • Set to Cross-site and social media trackers (or Allow all cookies temporarily).
