buck's lyricism remains astounding. audibly gasped multiple times while listening/reading along on the title track. this whole thing lived up to my admittedly intense hype
This hasn't moved me the way Big Thief or Adrianne's solo work has, but it's still a fantastic record.
does anyone know if the Dinked edition Sam Bridges flexi the same recording as on the Heart Was Beat EP? seems like such a strange song choice
tempted to call the vocal melodies in the verses of the title track the best in the big thief canon but i know i'm being hyperbolic. very happy this record ended up being everything i hoped
