As I mentioned at the end of the Chevelle bracket, the next one I plan to run will be one for Incubus.

I'll plan on doing it after the Green Day and Blink ones are done. I don't want to oversaturate the market!

@BTDandFeelingThis is running one for Angels & Airwaves now and it sounds like Blink will be his next endeavor.

@Micool1 just started one for Billy Talent so I’d guess that Green Day is a month or so out.

Yeah we did back in 2017. It was the very first bracket ran, but it was very primitively ran. I’m going to redo it once the new album comes out this summer, using the more refined format

There have been a lot of brackets to date, but i think that the reboot/continuation of the Thrice one by @Micool1 is the first I've seen of its kind. I think that's a pretty good idea and something that we should consider doing in the future for bands that put out new albums but have already had a bracket done for them. They wouldn't necessarily have to be run by the same person who ran the initial one, although I'd say the person who ran the initial one should have the first crack at it.

 

I haven't followed every bracket so I'm not sure if there are any that have a new album since the bracket. There's Weezer I can think of.

 

I'll have to put a list together over the next few days!

 

How long do you think we should give a record before it bracket it?

 

I would think at least a month or two.

On a related note, I'll keep hoping for a Copeland bracket.
