Haven't listened yet, but REALLY interested how/if they talk about Chris.

They don’t fyi if you mean the controversy

    Aaaachem!

It was an interesting listen either way. Chris was on Chris Demakes and the Vagrant pod and didn't discuss either. I know the Vagrant one was recorded prior to the revelations.

still was a little weird they didn’t like give a name of a charity you can support or like even make an attempt at addressing it at all.

he speaks loosely about the deterioration of the mental health of the band. Clearly referencing Chris.

On another note, the host of this show really needs to take a step back about how big he thinks his band was back in the day.

I’ve only listened to a handful of episodes because a lot of the guests are way obscure but I’ve never heard him be full of himself?

this guy talks to his guests as if Lanemeyer was this big full time successful band.

why is the onus of announcing a charity on the guy who quit a band 15 years before his former singer went off the deep end?

I should have been clearer. I meant the vagrant podcast they did with Chris that was mentioned above

Lanemeyer was a decent size band back in that era that broke apart too soon. They weren't Midtown, (which Mike references constantly as a band that spawned from the same scene via Humble Beginnings) but Lanemeyer was no local scrub band. "What a Shitty Summer" and "My Very Own Winnie Cooper" are anthemic.

They were 100% a local scrub band. I assume you and I grew up in New Jersey around the same time. That’s a band that drew a crowd in VFW halls across north jersey and that’s about it.
