BTR into Bobbi Jean would have just about ended me. What an amazing setlist. Glad you had such a great time.

 

Bruce has certainly loosened up the set on this second leg of the tour.

 

Was happy to find these in some record stores in Tokyo this past week. I was really searching hard for the Japanese Atlantic City single, but no luck there.

 

caught the show in Syracuse last night. pretty fun. Bruce looks and sounds great

 

I can't ever imagine describing a Bruce concert as just 'pretty fun' haha

 

@Craig Manning do not under any circumstances make the mistake I did and look at the Columbus setlist from last night. I also could not make the re-rescheduled date as it turned out, and neither could my folks. hope the stranger who bought my tix had a blast UGH

You know I had to check the setlist. Dammit. I don't know whether to be frustrated or consoled by the fact that this set is way better than what we would have gotten 13 months ago. It's wild that he seemed briefly content to play the same shorter set every night, and then he evidently realized "What the fuck am I doing?"

 

some of it is probably hes feeling alot healthier now

 

hope he feels healthy enough to give me jungleland as a birthday present

 

I've been watching the new Bon Jovi documentary over the last few days and it's made me realise just how lucky we are to still have Bruce and the band performing as they are into their 70s.

Jon Bon Jovi at 60 moves like an old man and can no longer sing, and it kills him.

Bruce is a freak of nature.

Does that sound exciting/good? No it does not. Will I watch it 4-5x in the first two wks it’s out? Of course yes don’t ask stupid questions.

Im just a Debbie downer who’s still bitter he had to sell his Columbus tix carry on

plus the letter to you doc wasn’t all that exciting but I enjoyed the hell out of it. behind the scenes on tour is probably more interesting than studio life tho I’ll admit
