https://consequence.net/2022/11/bruce-springsteen-ticket-prices/ Bruce is doubling down on his prices here. His "ask for your money back" comment is a complete joke.
Lol what a dick. the one thing I will say is they DO play for 3 hours, so if say blink 182 plays for 1.5 and is charging the same (they are) Bruce is twice the value.
Which means it's been 10 years since we did this! Closer to the Truth and Further From the Sky: My Back Pages, Vol. 7: Bruce Springsteen - Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.
Spinning Greetings now. Still far from my favorite Bruce record, but "Growin' Up" is such a gem of a song.
Less than a month til the tour........still worried he forgets about Letter To You and plays the new soul songs........really would bum me out
In all seriousness tho I was looking through albums that came out in 2013 a few days ago and just consistently having my mind blown at how quickly the time has disappeared, e.g. @Craig Manning Southeastern turns 10 this summer
"Lost in the Flood" has definitely edged out "Growin Up" for my favorite Greetings track at this point, although as Craig says in that write-up subsequent live versions dwarf the studio recording. The version from the MSG live album is the definitive one imo
I have such vivid memories of talking music with you and the whole gang from that year. Including when you sent me the video of “Cover Me Up” before Southeastern came out and blew my fucking mind with how good it was.
Yep been proudly banging the Isbell drum since late 2011/early 2012 haha. Doesn't feel that long though
We're gettin' old. 2013 was my first full year as AP.net staff, so I wrote about so many of the albums that came out that year. Pretty wild to be looking at the list again and thinking about 10-year retrospectives.
My first time seeing Isbell was at a small festival. I was there to see Titus Andronicus and Isbell played right before (!!!!) them. This was on the Southeastern tour. Blew me away. Fan ever since.
