The production on both of those albums bothers me less than the production on the post-2000 Bruce records.
Broadway show coming to Netflix apparently https://news.avclub.com/bruce-springsteens-broadway-show-is-coming-to-netflix-1827695613
this is excellent, I saw this post yesterday. I am still going to try and go see it in person but very glad I'll eventually be able to see it. I have to assume as this point, it's also going to eventually get a physical release maybe even with a live audio. This cash cow is going to get milked dry lol
one of the coolest bruce moments i've experienced was seeing him on 9/22/12 at metlife stadium, there was a 2.5 hour rain/lightening delay, the band didn't come on until close to 10:30, so the show was only about half over at midnight, the entire stadium sang happy birthday to him at midnight (then again like 6x before the show ended) and they brought out a huge cake and he went down and was giving out pieces of cake to everyone in the front row. they also played jungleland that night great freakin show happy birthday boss!
had a feeling they’d do this, so glad i’ll be able to have this forever especially if i don’t win tickets in the next month.
So a concert album AND the show is coming to Netflix? Fuck yeah this is awesome news. So happy that those of us with limited financial means who don't live near NYC will be able to experience this chapter of his career even from a distance.
Album will stream on apple music & spotify and it will be released physically on 2CD or 4LP, as well as the Netflix stream. I am psyched.
I ordered it on vinyl, and wanted my first listen to be that way. But now the release date on the vinyl is January 25th or something. Fuck!
