Currently trying to win tix to see him on Broadway! Seeing The Boss live in any capacity is very high on my list of life goals.
Very excited to hear fallon talk springsteen in depth, also very excited to hear julien bakers takes.
Definitely most excited to hear Julien Baker talk about my favorite album ever. I've seen her mention it as one of her favorites off-hand a couple times, and obviously her "Badlands" cover is incredible, but it's going to be great to hear her go in-depth. Can't go wrong with Phoebe or Brian, either.
not huge on Hyden but those are all great guests so very excited for this probably most excited for eps 8 and 9 since those records haven't been as covered as extensively as the first 7
I'm starting to go through his discography finally in preparation for this podcast and goddamit if "Incident on 57th Street" isn't one of the most beautiful, epic songs I've ever heard.
that whole album is criminally underrated. i might listen to that album more than i listen to even BTR.
I've always been a fan of Bruce but the furthest I'd gone with his discography was Tunnel of Love. First time listening to The Ghost of Tom Joad... while I enjoyed some of the tunes it was kind of a snoozer. Obviously Bruce is the man and who the hell am I to say what Bruce should do, but I think the album could have definitely used a little more variety and a few up tempo songs.
Yeah, Joad is pretty dull. Some strong storytelling, but the songs themselves aren't great (with a couple notable exceptions).
