Maybe! Just had a fundraiser I had to work for TWELVE hours, and have plenty of to-dos tomorrow. But hoping to make it, as long as I can find someone to join me.
I know the answer is because Paul Rudd is Paul Rudd but why would he not have one of the cast members or even just another queer actor on to help promote the movie?
My point is just that it feels kind of odd that part of the marketing with the movie is that it’s an all LGBTQ+ cast and then to promo it with a straight actor. I’m not mad or whatever, just struck me as a little odd is all
funniest movie i've seen this year. it maybe could've edited down to something ten minutes shorter, but billy and luke macfarlane are downright magnetic together and there's way too many funny lines to name which made the length easier to forgive. some other good stuff that i'm not equipped to touch on also. i hope this makes bank with ease
barely important but there was weirdly good timing with a reference to maroon 5 which almost felt like the inverse to when i first watched 22 jump street and someone impersonated tracy morgan, which was less than a week after he got into that freak accident
I’m excited for this but it’s maybe the most aggressive marketing I’ve seen for a movie in forever lol. Feel like I’m just seeing it absolutely everywhere. That said, I loved Billy parodying that fact in the billy on the street vid where he’s just running around screaming “WE NEED STRAIGHT PEOPLE TO SEE BROS”. Like I understand there’s good reason for the marketing, it’s just a lot.
Universal usually puts a lot of advertising into their Apatow productions. I assume that's where most of its budget is going. Good for them for being one of the few to have faith in a comedy.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a five star, all time great comedy to me so I'm always excited for a new Nicholas Stroller movie. Rooting for this one
