Kind of glad the seasons are shorter. Once you get this far in a series I get fatigued by bad episodes more easily idk why. Like the weak episodes from Parks S6 arent nearly as bad as the ones from S1 and 2 but I still skip those and watch the early ones.
Saw this point on twitter today and yeah...from now on I’m pretending this show is in an alternate universe. This show is so good and so funny but fuck cops and cop propaganda
Plus the show has never really shied away from showing the very real racist and homophobic problems that the police perpetuate.
Don’t waste time trying to twist yourself into knots to justify enjoying some dumb sitcom. Just burn down real police precincts and then go laugh at the funny jokes
not to mention how much she wastes the precinct's money by doing whatever she wants while on the clock
I'm assuming some kind of big donation or help with a project since it's "From the cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine," not necessarily happening on the show.
The writers are really going to have their work cut out for them next season. Do you try and address it, and if so, how? Having them not take part might come across as a propaganda piece, but having them not address it might also come across as insensitive.
I was gonna say, I think they have touched on it before. Just not in a way that makes me stop feeling uncomfortable that one of my favorite shows makes cops out to be loveable diverse goofballs
