I usually click the link thing on top when I post Insta posts Also I'm very distantly related to Sean Astin so that basically means I'm on the show
I met him once at a convention and he was super sweet. Wouldn’t stop talking about his kids, it was adorable.
Him and Elijah Wood seem to be really good dudes, pretty cool the success of LOTR didn't seem to go to their heads
Sean Astin's performance in the trilogy was so good, especially the third one. I love the scene in Fellowship at the end with him and Frodo in the boat. And everything Sean Astin did in Return was top notch.
Sean Astin not even being nominated, let alone not winning, Best Supporting Actor that year was absolutely criminal.
Might just be because the show's been gone a bit but I thought this was a really fantastic episode. They tackled what can be a pretty cliche story in sitcoms in a great original way, and pretty much every joke hit
For me, it was the worst episode of this season. But probably because every episode before this has been amazing.
I was worried they were going to make this like an ongoing thing for a few weeks but thankfully they didn't. Jake and Amy 4 Ever.
that was the second best this season for me (after The Crime Scene, I love it when they switch the format up)
I loved it aside from the fact that it almost got my girlfriend and I into an argument over kids. Lol Rosa and Santiago just saying "that's fucked up" to each other got a good laugh from me just because it was so unexpected. Fox would have never allowed that haha
The bleeped swearing actually is starting to not work for me won’t this show and its’ characters. And Pam being the person with the bomb was ludicrously stupid, but I’d say otherwise this was the best episode of the season, both in comedy and character moments for Jake and Santiago.
finally starting this on Hulu and I'm really enjoying it. about halfway through season one, just watched the Thanksgiving episode.
also “What if I had won the debate?” “Jake I’m trying so hard to be nice, I don’t know how to respond to that.”
It's a bummer, I do miss her in the show. Like, I totally understand the disdain for Gina's sexual harassment of Terry and think folks are right on that. But I don't think that's really on Chelsea, and the show's writers seemed to learn, change with the times, and stopped those jokes. She got a lot of big laughs from me outside of those moments
