Watched this episode last night and I lost it at that part

 

Funniest episode of the season for me tonight

 

I feel like mental health jokes are tough and this episode felt off for me in that regard, like Jake pretending to have DID and the whole therapy subplot just didn't do it for me

Cameron as Jocelyn is a great idea and the Rosa hiring a fake Jocelyn who promptly tried to sell her Molly was great

 

Holt talking to Kevin on the phone about rice might be one of the best scenes of this show ever

 

also Cameron Esposito is A++ casting

 

I found that some of the jokes worked, but the fake multiple personalities bit was not good

 

This is my first time seeing Cameron Esposito and tbh I'm already in love. Great casting.

(She also voices my favorite character on We Bare Bears so huge points for that)

 

Terry: Wait— have you never been to therapy?
Jake: No, don't need it.
Terry: Not even after the time your wife shot you?
Jake: Nope.
Terry: What about when you were held at gunpoint and had to write your own suicide note?
Jake: Uh, that was crazy... I forgot about that.
Terry: ...or when you were falsely accused of bank robbery and went to prison?!?
Jake: Was that a big deal?
Terry: You joined a gang and tried meth!
Jake: Well, I didn't want to be anyone's bitch.

That line of questioning was freaking hilarious and just makes you realize, wow, Jakes really been through some crazy shit

 

The instant callback to Holt judging Diaz was fantastic.

My girlfriend and I both burst out laughing at that, too. Probably scared the neighbors through our thin walls lmao.

 

“I love it when you pound loud” was maybe the funniest thing I’ve ever heard idk

 

Much like parks and rec it looks like this show just gets better every year

Holt: So nice of you to greet us, Madeline. I thought surely you'd be crushed under that house in Munchkin land.

there was not, I was sad.

 

I filled last nights void with the premiere of Tacoma FD. Pretty good if you are a Broken Lizard fan. Certainly enjoyed it more than Super Troopers 2

 

I guess it's due to rescheduling of shows.

Abby's just took Will and Grace's timeslot, so Will and Grace is stealing B99's for the next two weeks until it reaches the season finale

 

First 2 episodes were ok, I’ll keep watching. It’s Super Troopers but PG and with firefighters.
