ugh he's doubling down on it too I like that he's trying to make is to tell fathers "your children need you to play a healthy, active role in their lives". Which I think is a valid one one. But don't do that in a way that invalidate non traditional family structures or suggests that single parents who removed their children from abusive relationships are somehow failing their kid because they don't have a father or mother.
Exactly, I can understand him just speaking out against crappy fathers who abandon their children, but the way he's gone about it and doubling down on it against people with non-traditional families seems a little gross and disappointing
Also, Briga is a sexual assault survivor (she had a big #MeToo tweet before taking her Twitter down) so being a part of this had to be huge for her
Dang, had no idea. Didn't know much about him other than him being a funny dude and standing up against sexual abuse. Now he's really just being blatant about this. That's enough Twitter for me for the day
I get the merit behind thinking it’s good to have male and female parents or role models or whatever, but he took it way too far. That video on The View is ridiculous. Security = confidence apparently? Lol
On a happier note, I love that this show got Eugene from The Try Guys in an episode lol completely unexpected
Holt said bowline really strangely, my immersion is broken! I stopped watching New Girl after the early seasons, what was the context of the crossover with her and the car?
Her and the gang are in New York for Schmidt’s class reunion or something like that. She’s out getting soup from a Schmidt’s favorite deli when Jake shows up. In the New Girl side of everything Jess continues in her storyline and talks with Gina in the precinct about what happened, also Winston and Nick have a whole seperate storyline on the subway with Boyle.
Stephanie owns but it sucks that it's the LGBTQ WOC who has to have the emotional labor to explain things
