Jake’s reaction to Amy making the bomb joke was basically me during the whole wedding, god I love them
I had to pause the episode cause I was laughing so hard at Jakes Borat joke. Perfect finale, perfect show that should never be cancelled and run forever
That was great. Loved all the Rosa/Alicia scenes. The Teddy stuff was hilarious. The wedding was so sweet.
Have you ever had difficulty advocating for yourself? I do think that as an advocate for myself on set, I’m very direct. We had a guest star once who — I will not name names — but he came on and he was calling everyone “baby” and “honey” and “babe,” and I jokingly said to someone in the makeup trailer, “Oh, I wish he would call me babe.” Let’s see what happens. And then sure enough once we hit set, he did speak to me that way, and I said, I’d really prefer it if you called me by my name. And he was like, “All right, sweetie.” And then I stopped and said, “No. I am actually serious. I am not sweetie. My name is Stephanie, and I’d like you to call me by my actual name.” And he was a little bit of an older guy, and I don’t think he was used to anybody talking to him that way, especially not a young woman. Wonder who that was.
Just looking at the list of guest stars and my guesses would be: Adam Sandler Stacy Keach Joe Theismann Fred Melamed
lol I completely forgot Sandler played himself in an episode, I was going crazy trying to remember what his character was Fred Melamed was my first thought though I'd believe any of the above listed
I cried so much during the wedding. I see so much of my own relationship in these goofballs and I would love to have such cute vows at my wedding someday.
Great finale. My predictions for next year: - Holt gets the job and Terry replaces him and a season-long arc is him choosing who replaces his old job - Jake and Amy baby, obviously - Amy and Holt butt heads because she's running her precinct different than Holt would
Exactly, there’s already been two supporting characters go through tons of baby plot lines, so going through the whole process again would be so cliche / boring / hack
I agree. Yet pretty much every sitcom does at least one baby story line. I imagine the only reason we wouldn't on this show is if it's cancelled again before they get to that point.
“You got: Charles Boyle You are a deeply good-hearted person who just wants to make your loved ones happy. The only problem is that your legendary clumsiness gets in the way a few too many times.” Yup, sounds about right.
