Yeah I’m loving all the entertainment sites posting a bunch of articles about how it sucks this is cancelled.
This is just one of those rare shows where it makes total sense for another network or streaming service to pick it up.
I really hope someone picks this back up, I haven't watched the newest season but I've heard such good things.
Hulu or NBC definitely make the most sense. I would say “NBC shouldn’t have passed on it in the first place” but it’s good that they did. The NBC from five years ago would’ve cancelled it after a reduced-episode season 1.
I hope it doesn't go to TBS. I'm not sure TBS shows end up on streaming? and I'm not gonna pay for cable.
Totally agreed. This and Last Man on Earth to Hulu would be perfect, even if it's for a shortened final season.
I think we need to see how Jake and Amy's wedding is handled in the finale before judging whether the show really has a satisfying ending or not. For as much as this sucks, my personal problem with abrupt cancellations is not allowing a series to end on its own terms. Especially a series like this that deserves that respect. But as for TLMOE, yeah that finale was in no way acceptable as an ending and it deserves a final season to wrap things up in a satisfying way.
I think streaming rights depend more on the studio that produces the show, which wouldn’t be changing. Also I’m pretty sure TBS shows up on Hulu. At least some of them do.
Shit, for real? I didn't realize it hadn't been renewed. If it is, then I just lost the only 3 network shows I watch each week. Sweet.
