I wish Akiva had more screen time but his one scene was amazing also they really pulled off the dramedy thing this ep, I liked it a lot
Yeah this one was fantastic. I also thought/was hoping Kiv would be in it more but the story was great
wasn't really feeling that episode. the over the top goofiness (which I prefer) didn't mesh with the borderline after school special/"a very special episode" vibe very well
This show balances serious with funny really well. This week’s episode, the one where Terry is profiled in his neighborhood, and Holt dealing with discrimination being a gay black man all come to mind.
I thought this was pretty good. The drastic tone shifts felt kind of jarring a couple times, moreso than the other 'serious' episodes listed above, but the show is good enough to overcome that
They’ve done a good job of keeping Scully and Hitchcock as pure comedic relief while also giving them pretty fleshed out, individual personalities
I'm not completely caught up on the Mick or Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Did either of them have definitive proper endings because they had a feeling they'd be cancelled?
