Just reconfirmed You Forgot It In People is still a classic, so I thought I'd make a thread for them. Pretty excited to see them at Panorama. Wonder what they're mostly up to these days. Have only played a few shows last few years.
this and the Beehives EP are certified classicd such unique deep sound the rest lost me rock music for priviledged white kids (no offense, just a fact)
cringe-inducing post haha but cool the Feist version of Lover's Spit is one of my all time fav songs, so it's cool that they'll work together again unfortunately nothing clicked for me after YFIIP and the Bee-something EP, but let's have at it
They'll be playing at a charity event im seeing at Massey Hall later in the year, hopefully they play the new stuff.
amazing band, step ahead of the game. i think i love pretty much all of their albums. the brendan canning album from last year was one of my favs can't wait for new music
I wish something from them grabbed me even at least half as much as YFIIP or Bee Hives did at first I really like Drew's Darlings tho
check out KC Accidental-- the post-rocky previous version of BSS. both their albums are awesome and are more in that style
The S/T is a fantastic record as well. I remember someone on AP.net referred to the last album as Forgettable Rock Record, and, yeah...
S/T might be one of my favorite albums to smoke to the last album is alright, definitely some clunkers. "World Sick," "All to All," "Sweetest Kill" are all great songs tho
forgiveness rock record is probably my favourite of theirs at this point. though all 3 albums are 10/10's for me.
this is starting to ramp up. i expect an announcement of sorts soon-ish. also no idea if it will be a tour, but i've been told they have an upcoming Toronto live show that has yet to be officially announced.
sooooooo hot tip.... we should be getting a new single by mid march...... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
