Wow that post makes me irrationally angry. the good thing is BSS expanded their tour and I’m going to get to see them in Indianapolis.
The Twitter post is hilarious but it’s more annoying when you look up the account its from and see they’re a local Canadian band
Apparently they opened for a band with members of BSS previously so either it is a joke (but then why delete?) or they are super unaware of who BSS are.
I just can’t with twitter these days. The original tweet, whether or not a joke, annoyed me, then the aggressive pile-on against the tweet annoyed me, and then the rapid spread of “boygenius vs BSS discourse” afterward annoyed me. Now I’m in an irritable mood. Actual hellsite
In all aspects of this, I think some people need to just leave their thoughts in their head and not put them out for the masses on the internet.
New Kevin Drew album announced coming soon. Singles out now. Love Spirit If and Darlings, hyped for this
Saw them last Thursday and they were incredible. Also the drummer for Alexisonfire was playing with them--there's something that only like 20 people in the world would find awesome and all of them post on here haha
Oh damn I didn’t know that. Saw them last Tuesday and they were also incredible. We were pretty far back for the first half of the show (pretty damn crowded for a Tuesday night in Indy) and moved to the front side for the second half. Once we got closer they really blew me away again, and my friends I brought who were not BSS fans before the night (just a blind spot for them), were converts by the time it was over. “It’s All Gonna Break” is so monumental live. all I could think is “I want another album”, but also their discography is perfect and I’m not sure I neeeeeeed another one. I’d love for them to get the full gang back together though. All 5 of the girls (and their new touring female lead (didn’t catch her name, she was incredible.), Hannah Georgas also fits their sound so well, “Lovers Spit” was so good.
Awesome. Yeah they were so good, tons of energy and the sound was killer all night despite so many moving parts. Believe our date was the first night with the AOF drummer and the female lead is Jill Harris
not really - there was a movie featuring footage of a concert performance by them. this is a documentary
cover album of You Forgot It In People coming June 6th, featuring artists like Hovvdy, Toro y Moi, Maggie Rogers and Sylvan Esso, Spirit of the Beehive, and more.
