Spirit If... is the most forgotten BSS record (even tho its a kevin drew solo album) and one of their best albums.

That is my only contribution to this convo

 

And even those Ep’s produced “1972” which is one of their best songs imo.

“Can’t Find My Heart” and “Remember Me Young” are also worthy additions to the catalog.

 

Saw a Twitter thread yesterday that implied Kevin Drew is a big anti vaxxer which is why BSS postponed some shows recently. Very unfortunate if true.

Old Dead Young is out. Thoroughly enjoying it at the moment.

 

loving it but throwing me off that they edited some of these tracks. why cut the whole second half off "Not At My Best"? just a weird decision

 

forgot what an ass-beater "Canada Vs America" is, good lord

 

I read the pitchfork review, it’s really subpar writing, feels like a pretty lazy mid January review. Kind of a head scratcher. I like the album though, there is some really nice stuff here.

 

“All My Friends” is a stunner. Love the “your ex lover is not dead” line, shout out Stars.

 

I’ve heard many of these songs before so I’ve only played it once but I like it as an album a lot. Honestly I’m happy with everything this band puts out.

 

I wish they'd put "All the Gods" on here too. such a ripper

About to see these guys. Very hyped

 

Stellar show. They played pretty much everything I wanted them to. Amy joined in and sang with them, did Anthem for a Seventeen Year Old Girl. They even brought out some majorly unexpected ones like It’s All Gonna Break.

 

I just caught them in CHI a few days ago too - my first time. It was a great atmosphere and though I don't know their entire catalog, all of the music was stellar. Happy I got there to see Sweetest Kill & Hug of Thunder which are two of my favs.

They also let one of the guys do a portion of this track which is one of the best tracks I've come across this year:
