This is probably my favorite BSS record. Every track is really solid.

this album feels like a celebration of friendship, and i couldnt ask for anything more.

 

Oh man, completely didn't realize this was already almost out. Time to start up this stream.

 

Perfect day for this. Can't wait. YFIIP and S/T are 2 all timers for me.

the last song on the album is so damn epic

 

Got to everything but the last 2 songs. But god damn is "Please Take Me With You" amazinggggg

 

Ummm holy shit "Mouthguards of the Apocalypse"

Not sure they have ever rocked out that hard. Maybe "Ibi Dreams.."

 

Please Take Me With You is up there with their best

 

I'm trying to figure out my top ten BSS songs...so hard but here's a rough draft

1. Almost Crimes (imo maybe the best indie rock song of the 00's)
2. Ibi Dreams of Pavement
3. Cause=Time
4. 7/4 Shoreline
5. It's All Gonna Break
6. Anthems for a 17 Year Old Girl
7. Lover's Spit
8. World Sick
9. Superconnected
10. KC Accidental


I mean damn that doesn't even include Stars and Sons, Major Label Debut, Sweetest Kill, Fire Eye'd Boy, Hotel, Forced to Love or any of the new stuff I'm still getting to know off Hug of Thunder.

 

One hour. Can't wait for a better stream than NPR.

Wow, this is super impressive. Immediately more into it than the last record, just extremely solid throughout

 

I really feel like there is an increased Feist and Emily presence on this one, and I love it

that 3 way stretch at the end of Please Take Me... -> Gonna Get Better -> Mouth Guard ... is my fav thing on this entire album .

I've only had time to listen to this once so far today, but it's exactly what I was wanting to hear from the band. So good to have them back.
