It does really suck for a brief period of time this band was like my everything but by the end I’m just like meh I’ll check out but I don’t expect much *i’m the hugest iridescence fan
I usually skip the two The Light tracks just because they are so hard to listen to, but RR is real solid IMO
This is where I’m at too. It was a really fun few years with Saturation through Ginger though. Iridescence is still by far my favorite thing they’ve done.
Saturation through iridescence is my prime and then after that it became like maybe half the album i even cared to check out
Weirdly negative/cynical vibe in here. I've followed them from the very beginning and loved pretty much all of their albums, and actually think RR might be the best post-SAT album so I'm really excited to see how they "conclude" it all It's easily their best album cover at least lol
I do like Roadrunner, it just never really stuck with me aside from the opening track. I think the songs about Joba’s dad being so bleak kind of keeps me from going back a bit. I should revisit it soon though.
I think it's fair to be a bit cynical with possible rumours about Ameer coming back, Merlyn spouting off sub-Kanye bullshit rhetoric and the general weird vibe there's been since Roadrunner came out. I'll still listen, probably, but it's been pretty exhausting to be a fan of these guys for a year or more now lol also Ginger album cover reigns supreme
Yeah im worried Ameer is back in the group, green verse discusses "group is over without being on the album im back" and raps about jesus and religion like in sat 2
hey guys, i've been working on something but it's not solo, let me show you... it's a whole brockhampton album that only features me. i am brockhampton edit- i'm not against solo songs but i really hope everyone else has more parts than they did on Roadrunner
