Oh yeah that’s my favorite of all the solo projects

 

Mississippi, Baby Boy and Peach are so fucking good

 

I like Arizona Baby and American Boyfriend more than any single BH album

 

I like Arizona baby a lot

Mika’s laundry is awesome

haven’t listened to dom yet, but it’s on my list

Arizona Baby is good, but this is a pretty wild take

 

As full albums, I don't think any BH hit the mark, too inconsistent on every album

 

That opinion is simultaneously understandable and shakes me to my core lol

 

Arizona Baby is literally three EPs tacked together lol and I say that lovingly. Iridescence and Ginger top it.

I don't necessarily disagree with that take. iri is the only BH that reliably tops American Boyfriend for me, even that depends on the day

man I hate April Fools Day lol. by the time Americans really start doing it its already the 2nd here and it always throws me off

Go back to Saturation II it’s the only one with lasting power imo.

 

the whole Sat trilogy has not aged particularly well

 

It still blows my mind that for just about everywhere outside this website the consensus is they were only good during the Sat trilogy and fell off after. Iridescence and Ginger are so far ahead of the Saturation albums for me

 

Absolutely not as a whole album for me, select songs yes

 

Same, and I'll take Roadrunner over Sat 1 & 3. Those have great songs but I rarely make it through the whole things.

 

Roadrunner is so fucking good. still think of it as the actual last album
