Just got back from the Kevin Abstract show! It was one of those no phone events so I don’t have any clips or anything

Super interesting. He had a live band and Romil was in the corner triggering tracks on his laptop. Veeeery different sound for him, nothing like either of his solo albums or Brockhampton. Didn’t rap at all, and it was very heavy on guitars. There was a few heavier punk songs, and a few lighter acoustic ones. Couldn’t make out too many lyrics but he seemed to be going through it! He played around 10 songs, all new. Can’t wait to hear the final thing

Also, saw Joba in the crowd. Made me happy to see they still support each other

 

you are telling me Kevin Abstract is working with Fred Again and now Merlyn Wood is working with Four Tet since he’s a producer on the song.

next we will have joba working with skrillex probably

No surprise but the Merlyn track is mid as hell. Feature is alright though

 

four tet production is phenomenal but yeah Meryln is mid
