Lol, I love this band but the further away we get from all of it the more it kinda feels like they were kids playing dress-up in their parents' clothes
yeah I kinda love them less the more time goes on lol. there's only a few songs from each album I ever feel like listening to
I am well aware of the fact that we are the only faction on the internet who doesn’t like Ameer, but I do listen to iridescence, Ginger, and Roadrunner waaaay more than the Saturation trilogy.
Ameer is a piece of shit that deserved to be kicked out but it feels like you guys are being reactionary, he definitely added a huge component of their sound. That's why they pivoted so hard into singing after the SAT trilogy I still love all of their albums tbh
Ehhh...agree to disagree. Also don't think there was THAT much of a pivot to singing. Felt like they were naturally broadening their sound (to their benefit) while keeping the rapping.
I'll rephrase then, they gained a lot when he left. they were so much better at the alt-pop stuff than trying to make heavy rap shit. a lot of those tracks (HEAT especially) aged like milk
Agreed, trying to suggest that Ameer’s absence didn’t have significant impacts on their records moving forward is just silly.
Some demos and a track with Miley briefly leaked a month or so ago and the leaker claimed there was one with Dua as well
very interesting, could be good, also could just be really old stuff too, so I am not getting my hopes up
