Kevin posted a Christmas special and wrote a bit about the making of it and Dom tweeted something to the effect of “wow, being written out of the story hurts.”
Yeah, to elaborate, Kevin implied that it was made when most of the guys went home and Dom responded by saying he was also around but not asked to participate, and then Kevin tweeted "Here comes the drama"
I love Kevin but hate how much of a drama magnet he is, the amount of times I've rolled my eyes at his behavior lmao
I never really liked Jabari's contributions once he started being a vocalist in the group anyway. He's a good producer but his voice is sooo processed that it might as well be AI The hook of Old News is good but that's about it
Sorry to bump with no news, but I have been thinking now that the dust has settled, I much much prefer The Family to TM. I probably bump The Family 1-2 times a month and I haven't listened to TM all the way through since the week is came out. It does unfortunately sound like a bunch of loosies and while some of them are great, it settles in the melancholy in the back half a little too long for me to revisit often. The stretch from tracks 1-5 on The Family however is one of the hottest Brockhampton streaks in their entire discography, imo.
