I listened to the trilogy yesterday and it really is wild how often he uses that exact flow and the same fucking line about demons over and over. Dom and Kevin really carried Saturation era
It works in HEAT, where for some baffling reason he choreographs his own demise, but yeah, the band was much better off without him.
I love everything Saturation 1 to Roadrunner but I did not enjoy either of these albums especially TM
the one that's really hard to listen to now is his verse on MILK. I mean yeesh that one is just upfront about it huh a real shame because otherwise it's one of my favourite BH songs
Surprised I'm not seeing much talk about FMG. Song goes off when the beat comes in and it has a Pokemon line in it. It has everything you need
I really am curious when we will get a Matt Champion album or just more features from anyone from the group. It feels like we never got nothing besides maybe a random Kevin appearance.
I just gave The Family and TM another spin and yeah.. these are their worst albums if you ask me. Lyrically, it’s insightful at times, but these songs are largely half baked. Lyrics and all. This just feels so unfinished and I’m starting to wish they never released this. Going out on Roadrunner would have been better IMO What a bummer.
On a separate note; been on a huge iridescence kick the last few days. Honestly, if they swapped out some tracks on it for Truman and Wildfire? Would be probably their best record to me.
I just disagree with so much of that lol anyways, I've been spared but not really liking the iridescence or GINGER merch. There's only two GINGER shirts (one is ugly as hell) and you couldn't catch me dropping $75 on a hoodie
Honestly just don't go back to the Saturation stuff much between Ameer and their output getting consistently better until recently. Some classics on Saturation, but I couldn't tell you how Trip, Swim, or Milk go.
TM has this one song called Listerine and I swear I was texting a fellow user and I told him it sounds like a copy cat of a don toliver and travis Scott song and he agreed
