District for me too. Weight, Tape and Honey are all close behind though. Definitely my favourite Brockhampton record.

Honey and District for sure. Tonya and Weight are also very special to me.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned J'ouvert yet. One of Joba's best verses

listening to this for the first time in months

still absolutely goes. we didn't talk enough about how Baird's feature on Old News is one of the best parts of the album

This is me #3 album of the year behind Bo and Turnstile. People definitely slept on it, there isn't really a single part I haven't come to enjoy (except the deluxe tracks, those still suck lol)

  9. #10 for me. It's a great record, one of their best, I just haven't returned to it as much as I thought I would.

This is where the CD in my car came in handy haha. Lots of months in a row where I just didn't take it out. I will say I started to skip The Light tracks after a while. Not because they aren't good, but well... you get it.

This album was good but outside of a couple songs, I don’t really revisit it much either.

I like it a fair amount, definitely more than when I first heard it but it still doesn't really hit the highs of Saturation/Iridescence for me.

  13. I think my current ranking based on replay value would look like

    Iridescence
    GINGER
    Saturation 3
    ROADRUNNER
    Saturation 2
    Saturation

All good records and I think that first one is the only one that could really use some noticeable trimming.

This for me, but pop RR above Sat3

    Saturation 2
    Roadrunner
    Ginger

Honestly I'd trim a decent amount of all of them except Iridescence.

  16. Yeah, Ginger, Saturation 3, and Roadrunner are pretty much interchangeable for me. Great stuff

aside from the four songs I love on there, I ended up liking the rest less the more I listened. Still a handful of great songs/moments though.

  19. That album captures a very specific time period for me and even if it's a step back from Iridescence, I still feel like you can feel the pieces falling into place. A step forward from the Saturation trilogy.

Def feels necessary for the group. It's the only album where everyone is almost equally featured.

This album is basically neck and neck with the Tyler album for me, I need to relisten to both to figure out which one gets higher on my AOTY list

As far as BH's discography, I think this is their strongest post SAT album pretty easily imo. It's insane to watch their growth in such a short amount of time

if you replaced the 2-4 run on here with... good songs, imo, it could go toe to toe with iridescence. the run from THE LIGHT to PT. II is flawless
