It gets a little weird, but not really... I guess more so than most mainstream stuff, but I can't really compare it to their older stuff as I've only heard select songs
yeah depends what relativity you mean. weird compared to iridescence? not really no. weirder than Ginger? sure, there's an a cappella bearface gospel song, a 6-minute posse cut and a lot of unusual guitar-based beats

I really like this. “What’s The Occasion” reminds me of a downbeat “Sing For The Moment” mixed with Dr. Dre synths.
Ginger didn’t vibe with me as much as I had hoped it would... but this? This is the good stuff. There’s definitely a few underwhelming tracks like Chain On (JPEG deserved better) and Count On Me but pretty much the rest is all aces for me. The Light is pure madness in all the best of ways and Windows man... WINDOWS! It’s all so good. I did not expect to love this as much as I do and watching the livestream last night only solidified it more. Now all I need is for them to drop this on vinyl STAT.
I like the Dom verse but other than that don't like Chain On at all, that beat gets real annoying by the end of the song.
