my birthday is in september so clearly they did it SOLELY for me

 

This is my most anticipated album of 2018. Super hyped.

 

I told my co-worker my favorite group is releasing an album next month and she was like who?

I was like Brockhampton and she went isn't that a boy band?

WOW THEY ACTUALLY DID IT THE MAD LADS FOOLED PEOPLE INTO THINKING THEY ARE A BOY BAND

so ppl are speculating that it's actually an entirely new album and NOT Best Days renamed, which honestly is entirely plausible with these madlads

 

So that's what, four different drafts of their fourth album now? Very impressive if so, in terms of both hard work and creativity.

if they are actually drafting the album that is - not just scrapping everything and starting over each time lol

(I really, really, really hope they haven't scrapped whatever 1999 WILDFIRE came from)

 

Kevin did say he has like 5 more albums in his mind on 1997 DIANA lol.

I was always under the impression that the 199x songs weren't on any album and were just loose tracks they wanted to put out as singles over the summer. I wouldn't mind one or all of them ending up on the album we get next month though.

 

yeah I was just thinking the things we lost in the fire was basically going to be it's own separate album

 

I don't know anything with this band's release schedules this year anymore, lmao. But my assumption was that all three were from the album because the "year + title" naming convention for each song tied into the Best Years of our Lives album concept. Like each song represented a year and that's where the album title came from. Which if I'm right doesn't give me hope we'll see any of those singles on Iridescence

 

Oh damn, never thought about it like that. I always just assumed "Best Years of our Lives" was referring to them being in the prime of their career right now. I like your interpretation of it a lot more though.

I love the title. Iridescent and its permutations have always been some my favourite words.
