Have you guys heard their first mixtape All-American Trash? It's a really odd debut project for the group (there's barely any rapping compared to how much singing is on it) but it's a really interesting listen

the ending of 1998 Truman used to be eh to me but now I love it so much that I wish it was incorporated into the album

Saw them for the third time tonight and they get better every time. It's insane to see them with such a production value and they're all just fantastic performers.

Can't believe I saw them in a 300 cap venue barely a year ago and now at a 1500 one

 

What are some other good rap/hip hop releases from this year?

Also I’m seeing these boys on Friday and I’m very excited.

 

My favorites rn are Saba, Joey Purp, and Four Fists, but I’m very uneducated when it comes to hip-hop and have barely scratched the surface

 

I’ve heard very good things about Saba

 

Saba rules. Noname rules. The Open Mike Eagle ep that just came out is pretty cool

 

Nickelus F - STUCK and Denzel Curry - TA13OO are both great if you're after some grimier and/or more aggressive shit

 

Oh duh Noname is super great too. Really liked Denzel Curry too when I heard it but I haven’t gone back to it :/
