if shia laboeuf comes within 10 feet of one of these songs ill be the hardest out ive ever been on something. ever since that sway freestyle ive been afraid of him trying to launch a rap career.
New songs are good, but need more Bearface lol I like Matt Champion's hooks, but I hope he drops some good verses too. Love Dom's in the newest song!
Neither of these are bad songs, but I’m kinda upset it’s back to the verse from each member format. Straying from that is what made iridescence so much more interesting and enjoyable imo
Goddamn Dom really killed everyone before they even had the chance I'd agree that Iridescence showed growth that I really wish they'd follow up on, but I also really like both of these songs, so I'm not complaining
Oooh, now you got me thinking about some of my favorite verses! Dom on BERLIN and HONEY Joba on J'OUVERT and SAN MARCOS My fav Kevin shit might be on his solo albums My fav Bearface hooks are 1999 WILDFIRE, THUG LIFE, and SAN MARCOS Matt also rocks on the 3 tracks between Sat III and Iridescence
Matt/Joba combined verse on JUNKY still my fave on a brockhampton song tbh other contenders: Dom on SWAMP and VIVID, Joba on J'OUVERT ofc, Matt on SISTER/NATION, Kevin on GUMMY and MARCH. and that solo Joba song on Sat Drafts that the fans named SPLIT has some crazy bars EDIT: lest we forget, Matt snapped on WHERE THE CASH AT too
oh cool, streaming version of If You Pray Right has a totally different outro - vid ends with a snippet of a totally different track, Tyler-style
Agreed 100%. I like both of these songs but iridescence floored me immediately. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this.
I am going to be honest with you all, I am a little worried personally. Both these songs released have just felt so mid.
I actually really liked how they started experimenting on Iridescence and since they've basically gone back to the Saturation sound on these it doesn't exactly feel exciting, even though I've really liked both songs. They're certainly enjoyable and I'm really looking forward to the album, it just feels a little safe
I'm more of a fan of the video version than the actual Spotify release. Spotify release is 5 mins and I'm not really a fan of the last minute of it unfortunately. Dom snapped though, Joba sounds less corny but I wish Kevin would switch up his flow a bit
I've liked Sugar more than both the released tracks haha. Both of these new songs feel like track 8 in a 17 track album
it really is telling when both songs I’ve seen comments online be like “oh ameer would have ruled on this” people are horrible
