Love this band! They should have been bigger in my opinion.

 

New song rules! Haha. Wild that it's part of a split with Countdown to Life too...

Sad in the City is such a great record! It pulls off that rare pop-punk trick where it sounds wholly familiar but completely its own "thing" all at once.

It also has one of my favorite lyrics of the last few years: "If my country collapses, can I crash on your couch?"

I've picked up on this with the Red Scare bands and I really love it. Even if it's just an acoustic version of an already-released track it definitely adds a bit more.

They came here recently with TBR but uh... I'm still not feeling great about TBR as a band so I sat that one out. Hoping they come around or I can catch them at a fest or something next year, though.

 

yah i hear on that one and hopefully! i caught tightwire over the summer with audio karate, it was a fantastic show!!

head full of snakes is SO good, solid pick for AOTY :P

Jealous of those Audio Karate shows. That must have been a blast... I haven't seen AK since like, 2004? 2005 maybe?

 

i never saw em before, and they said it was their first time EVER in chicago, they never made it out this way back in the day, kung fu i guess didnt have the tour support to get em that far is what i got from them talking about it, but they were amazing! it was cool to finally see em, never thought i ever would! played a beefy set too!
